Club Night - Two Hours In A TukTuk
Photo : Mark Radford
At our latest club meeting, we were treated to a truly unique and inspiring presentation, titled "2 Hours in a TukTuk." Instead of visiting the well-known tourist spots, club member Mark Radford ventured into areas rarely seen by outsiders, immersing himself in the everyday life of the local people. His ability to engage with those he met along the way resulted in a stunning series of street portraits that captured the spirit, warmth, and vibrancy of the communities he encountered. The willingness of people to be photographed, their openness, and the genuine connections Mark made were evident in every image.
His presentation not only showcased incredible photography but also sparked a wave of inspiration among our members. Many have been motivated to step outside their comfort zones and try their own variation of street photography—whether exploring unfamiliar neighborhoods, engaging with strangers, or using different methods to tell a story through their images. A big thank you to Mark for sharing his work and experiences with us—it was an evening that will no doubt influence many future photographic adventures.
